Abstract

Objective of the study is to analyze the phenomenon of creativity as a form of mass creativity focused on practical results; to consider existing creative strategies for resolving interethnic conflicts and identify the potential of a creative approach for the future harmonization of interethnic relations. The methodological basis of the research was the conclusions and provisions from the works of both foreign and domestic authors who investigated various aspects and revealed the essence of migration as a phenomenon. General scientific methods of cognition (analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction, classification, comparison) were used in the work, a special method (structural and functional) was applied, which is based on the use of general methodological principles of modern Russian sociology, as well as an integral scientific approach. When analyzing the characteristics of creative personalities and strategies of behavior in conflict, certain provisions of behaviorism are involved. It was possible to come to the conclusion that сreative thinking plays an important role in the process of finding and discovering solutions at all stages of the peace process. Interethnic conflicts can be resolved through creative thinking, which allows you to see new opportunities and generate alternative solutions, in which formal and standardized strategies are superior. Despite the existence of a number of well-known creative ways of conflict resolution, future research should be aimed at studying creative thinking as a tool that hides unlimited potential for resolving interethnic conflicts.
