Abstract

The subject of the study is a discrepancy between the large support of a set of traditionalist value observed in modern Russian society and rejection to follow these value requirements at the level of everyday practices. We supposed that some value imperatives operate in the Russian public consciousness as anchors of all-Russian cultural and historical identity, i.e., awareness of their country's self in historic space and time.
