Abstract

The article deals with the trends in the formation of a system of global political governance, which assumes the maximum versatility and multilevel, attracting the largest possible number of participants in global governance. The multilevel system includes local-national-regional-interregional and international – global levels. Attention is drawn to the fact that globalization is of particular importance as a factor forcing all countries to look for new models of development directly related to certain aspects of strategic management. It is shown that globalization activates problems of strategic management, first of all, in political and economic activity. It is emphasized that the strategy of political activity management becomes the most important means of ensuring national security, survival of the country in conditions of competitive coexistence with other States. Today, the public consciousness increasingly feels the need for people who know how to think strategically, which is determined by the need not only to adequately assess the consequences of tactical victories and defeats, but first of all to think about a crucial strategic breakthrough in political governance. It is concluded that strategic thinking should be the basis for the formation of political strategy and strategic planning.
