The global society and the Russian civil society and state are affected by the ongoing process of socialization of the state and etatisationof society, which means establishment of a social state governed by the rule of law and a civil society, development of the basis of legal knowledge and jurisprudence and foundation of institutions managing sustainable development of the global civilization. In the course of this process, two logics of actions collide: the logic of dogmatic speculative liberalism, “domination over nature”, war against the nature for the sake of elimination of poverty and support of well-being of the minority and a new logic of scientific balance of co-existence of person, society and nature for the sustainable development of the majority of people. It is argued that Russian society and the state have begun to manifest socio-political imperatives, following which it might become possible to facilitate social integration of the Russian society into the processes of sustainable development. During the COVID-19 crisis, the state and the civil society have faced challenges of the new reality. In order to adequately respond to these challenges and develop a coordinated attitude to resist the threat of the pandemic, citizens must be confident in the reliability of the information they receive about the coronavirus from various sources and be able to evaluate the media’s judgments about the pandemic. Theoretical propositions are illustrated and confirmed by the data of sociological research. The article presents the results of the sociological monitoring “How are you, Russia?”, conducted under the scientific supervision of Doctor of Social Sciences V. K. Levashov since 1992. The author shows the methods and results of empirical modeling of socio-political stability. Content (in russ)hide table of contentsshow table of contents
