Abstract

The article identifies the need to monitor the socio-economic consequences of the digital transformation of economic sectors and sectors of the social sphere in the context of key directions of the country's development. The paper summarizes the possibilities of monitoring the consequences of digital transformation, taking into account the approved National Program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”, which is being implemented by monitoring the development of the information society and a number of other tools for statistical accounting of information. The authors identified the problems of statistical monitoring of the consequences of digital transformation for the economy and assessing the gross value added of the digital sector, and also refined the algorithm for calculating the contribution of the gross value added of the digital sector to the gross domestic product.
