Abstract

Russia belongs to the demographically old countries of the world. The ageing process in our country has a number of features related to the change in the age structure of the population due to the second phase of depopulation; significant lag indicators continue realities of life not only from the developed and some developing countries; demogra specific asymmetry on the floor; low expectancy healthy life howling, which are calculated without taking into account gender, and disease burden, dictated by age and accumulated until the age of 65. The current situation increases the urgency of finding an effective way out of the process of demographic aging, based on strategic approaches to the formation of public health throughout the life cycle of a person, including representatives of older age groups.
