Abstract

The article is devoted to the sociological analysis of the situation in regions with different levels of socio-cultural development. There is given the analysis of interaction of governors with the population of their regions from the point of view of social communicative space. It is presented the assessment of the work of local authorities and management by the population. The data of a mass survey conducted in 12 subjects of the Russian Federation are compared with expert assessments and national ratings of heads of regions.
