7th Midterm ESA Conference "Professions and social inequality" Helsinki, Finland, 24-26 of May, 2012 60 sociologists from Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Finland, France and Sweden took part in the Conference. During the Conference, the sessions on the theory of sociology "Theoretical perspectives of professions" and 10 working sessions were held: "The emergence and transformation of labor markets", "Professions within the army and the church", "Work in the field of health care and professionalism of health care professionals", "Restructuring of the academic work ”,“ Challenging professional identities ”,“ Teaching and teachers ”,“ Transforming the culture of professional work ”,“ Preserving and transforming career models ”,“ Professions and social problems ”and“ The boundaries of professional work ”.
