Abstract

In recent years, Russian universities have made significant progress in attracting foreign students, whose total share amounted to 8% of the total number of Russian students. The forced transition of universities to an online format has identified serious problems of ensuring a high-quality educational process for students abroad, and also showed the need to use new, digital forms of recruiting foreign students. The authors of the article have structured proposals to optimize the attraction and training of foreign students, taking into account the digital transformation and the experience gained in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic.
