Abstract

The collective monoraphy is dedicated to topical issues of our time - agrarian problems and new models of development of the countries of the East. For the past two years, the world has been living in the harsh conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. The monograph comprehensively examines the impact of the pandemic on the food security of the countries of Asia and Africa, on the increase in poverty and inequality in the countries of the East, on the choice of new models of economic development by these countries. The book examines: the dynamics of economic growth in the agricultural sector of the leading countries of Asia; the impact of aipap reforms on agricultural development; the level of food security in a number of countries, with particular emphasis on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic; also presented new models of economic growth in Asia and North Africa, assessed new forms of organization of production in the financial and agricultural spheres, in particular the influence of TNCs and innovative financial technologies.
