Abstract

The article deals with the problems of transformation of the artistic and creative intelligentsia as one of the most important subjects of the development of national culture. The article shows the change in the social functions of this socio-professional group, the peculiarities of its creative activity in the conditions of industrial mass production of symbolic products, analyzes the new spiritual, moral and aesthetic values of representatives of the artistic and creative intelligentsia.
