Abstract

In the context of a massive influx of migrants into the country, the local population is faced with people who are alien in mentality, do not know the Russian language, are unfamiliar with the customs of the local population and legal norms of behavior. For this reason, disputes arise between the local population and migrants, which creates a conflict situation in the regions. All this actualizes the need for an effective state policy of adaptation and integration. The concept of a new regulation in the field of migration is currently being developed. However, the concept did not include the main provisions on the adaptation and integration of migrants, which means that in the near future the regions will have to independently determine the scope of tasks and state participation in this area.
