Abstract

The results of monitoring the activities of local self-government bodies in the Voronezh Region conducted by the Voronezh Institute of Economics and Social Management are presented. The problem of public confidence in the authorities and local self-government is emphasized. The necessity of establishing interaction between regional executive authorities and local administrations is emphasized, as well as the importance of personal contacts of government representatives with the population in order to strengthen institutional trust and develop social self-organization of the population.
