The coronavirus pandemic has become a moment of truth, forcing citizens, politicians, specialists and scientists to once again think about the criteria, goals and meaning of the development of world civilization. This year it has become even clearer that the dominant way of life on the planet, built on the motivation of economic, political, technological, scientific, military competition has exhausted itself, and increasingly leads to catastrophes of a planetary nature and scale. It is the competition for economic and intellectual resources: money, markets, information that has led to three global catastrophes over the past hundred years. Two world wars and the coronavirus pandemic have led to apocalyptic human casualties, struck at the foundation, social and political institutions of the humanistic universe and shaken humanity's confidence in a common stable and secure future. In 1945, after the Second World War, the countries participating in the anti-Hitler coalition created the United Nations (UN), an international organization created to maintain and strengthen international peace and security, and to develop cooperation between states. It is cooperation on the scientific basis of international law that is being created, and not competition, which in practice has always degenerated into rivalry, the right of the strong to assert, through military violence and robbery, their will in the system of relations between countries and peoples.
