Abstract

While the population of Iran is increasing, the concerns about the population aging are growing. In 2050, the population of people 65 years old and over will consist 21% of the population; and the cohort of Iranians, 0–14 years old will decrease and will consist 17% of the population. While the population of Iran is increasing, the concerns about the population agingare growing.
