Abstract

The article scientifically substantiates the transition from scientific management to the sociology of governance. The historical and institutional features of the formation of general sociology and the scientific discipline of the sociology of management are considered. Methodological problems are identified and the prospects for organizing fundamental research in the context of increasing sociological knowledge, which contributes to the realization of sociology's exit from the state of pre-science and the modernization of the domestic management system as a whole, are identified.
