Abstract

The study of the impact of remittances of migrant workers in developing economies with a high level of migration is relevant for many countries. Over the past two decades, the level of migration has increased significantly, and the volume of remittances has also increased, which leads to a more active study of their impact on the socio-economic situation by many researchers. Even though official data on money transfers do not consider flows coming through informal channels (for example, transmitted through relatives and friends or brought by the migrant himself), according to experts, most of the income of migrant workers still passes through money transfer systems.
