Abstract

The results of studies of the impact of precarious employment of the economically active population on the level and quality of life of households conducted on the basis of original tools are summarized. Qualitative and quantitative multi-criteria identification of groups of economically active population characterized by low level and quality of life due to the unfavorable situation in the field of employment, including those caused by manifestations of precarious employment, and material security (cash income, savings, security of real estate) are presented. The differences between the objective characteristics of their level and quality of life and those revealed through subjective assessments are analyzed. A two-criteria grouping of workers differing in sustainable (precarious) employment and material security is presented. The scale of these groups of workers is shown, their characteristics are given by the level of wages, the structure of consumption of their households and self-assessments of material security.
