Abstract

In the article, as a result of the analysis of the author's research of the second stage of the All-Russian sociological study Demographic well-being of the regions of Russia conducted in 2021 by the method of in-depth interviews with members of young children (large families), the meaning of well-being for this category of families is revealed. It was revealed that a prosperous happy family from a demographic point of view is a complete family with children, maintaining functional ties with parents and other relatives. The special role of parenthood, progenitorship in the formation and strengthening of the image of a prosperous multi-generational Russian family is noted. The key values of a prosperous family allow you to build relationships and a lifestyle that provides comfort, security, and conditions for self-expression for all its members. The practical significance of the conducted research is determined by the relevance of the propaganda of the institute of a prosperous young family and the significance of the author's socio-demographic model of benefits.
