Abstract

The authors of the article present a historical and sociological analysis of the memories of Leningraders evacuated from the besieged city to the Kirov region during the Great Patriotic War. A research methodology is a content analysis of the following private sources: narrative and semi-­structured interviews. The primary sources of data are collections published in the Kirov region. The respondents are residents of besieged Leningrad, evacuated to the Kirov region as children or adults, representatives of state and parties who took part in the life of the evacuated Leningraders
