Abstract

The assessment of the dynamics of the human potential of the Eurasian Economic Union in the new conditions of the global economy is based on modern approaches to the study of the problems of the demographic potential of societies. It is noted that today there is a real contradiction between the need to increase the human potential of each country of the Eurasian Economic Union, the strengthening of the positive influence of integration processes on it, the real state of the demographic situation in the member countries, the contradictory influence of integration processes associated with the emergence of many problems of a socio-demographic nature, primarily with demographic expansion. The study analyzes various aspects of human potential and human capital. Based on a comparative analysis of the demographic situation in the EAEU member states, the author aims to identify the risks and threats of reducing the human potential of the Union, to substantiate the system of indicators and indices of demographic security of the EAEU, taking into account the opportunities of the countries opened by the functioning of a single integration association. The results obtained allow us to form proposals for improving the quality of human resources, increasing and improving human potential, preventing possible risks and threats to demographic security.
