It is necessary to agree with Professor A. Ageev that changes in lifestyle are caused by changes in the system of social values, and, consequently, in the behavior of people, which changes the social organization of all modern societies without exception. The processes that produced this result cannot be reduced only to a pandemic, they have been accumulating for decades. Lifestyle determines the structure of the entire life cycle of modern generations. The increase in life expectancy, demographic aging, the difference in the levels and quality of life, both between countries and within them - all this raises new, including moral questions. Elderly people, whose number and proportion is constantly growing, can be considered as full-fledged participants in social processes, or are they beginning to be considered socially untenable, unable to make decisions, including with regard to their own destiny? In the course of the pandemic, this choice is overlaid with the edges of transition to a technologically new - in many ways wonderful - world.Content (in russ)hide table of contentsshow table of contents
