Abstract

In the article is shown that from 2008 environmental interests were taken into account in order to develop the country's economy. At this time, the course of eco-modernization of the economy continues in the globalized world. In 2012, the Rio + 20 Summit of Heads of State of the World took place in Rio de Janeiro, where one of the main directions was the discussion of independent certification of natural resources management, failure to comply with which could oust manufacturers from 2 world markets. The Russian government is forced to take into account the demands of the world community more and more. And in the same year, in fact, one of the fundamental documents in modern Russia was adopted, aimed at creating a balance between the interests of the economy and the environment. The study has shown that the position of the authorities in the field of environmental protection boils down to the fact that environmental control should be carried out, but at the same time should not hinder economic development. Thus, the development of environmental policy in Russia is characterized by a constant change in the system of norms and rules for environmental protection. The study has shown that changes in Russian legislation in the field of environmental regulation are closely related to economic transformations in the country.
