On the basis of the results of the sociological study, an attempt is made to form an idea of the existing objective migration factors of attraction and push in the region in question. Attention is given to identifying the reasons and motives for completed migration movements from Nizhny Novgorod region to Moscow and the Moscow area near Moscow. In addition, we will study the migration moods of migrants in Nizhny Novgorod with respect to their possible relocation to the capital region. On the basis of the interview notes and the results of the sociological poll, we constructed social portraits of potential migrants from Nizhny Novgorod, broken down according to the actual motives and determinants of their possible migration from the subject area of the Russian Federation under study.
