Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the opportunities that open up before the functioning of a single integration association, the impact of socio-economic transformation in the period from 1990 to the present in the CIS countries on demographic policy, the emergence of many problems of a sociodemographic nature, primarily with demographic expansion. The defining dominant of demographic changes was the difference in the economic potential of the post-Soviet states. The methodology of the study is to compare international human rights instruments in ensuring gender equality in family relations and the demographic situation in the CIS countries. The article discusses the priority directions of demographic policy in the near future. The results obtained allow us to form proposals for improving the quality of human resources, increasing and improving human potential, preventing possible risks and threats to demographic security.
