Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the development of social work in the context of the modernization of the social protection system from 2004 to 2019. The process of post-modernization of the social sphere in the Russian Federation was associated with a number of systemic problems in the development of a new democratic statehood. During this period, trends in the deinstitutionalization of state institutions of social protection begin to take shape in the domestic system of social protection of the population, conditions are created for connecting other actors such as civil society, such as non-profit and confessional associations, to this segment of activity. The article provides an analysis of the study conducted in the territories of the federal districts in 2016, which showed the most popular services among traditional socio-medical and social labor services. The confessional direction of social work contributed to the design of clinical discourses of the practice of domestic social work.
