We show that so far the low-skilled work of drivers, shop assistants, guards and other technologically outdated professions is very wide-spread. We also show that in many small settlements the basis of the life support of households is deeply archaic practices of crafts. Interregional imbalances reach significant size in relation to innovative potential. At the same time, the scale of precarization associated with the development of high technologies and the simultaneous narrowing of the rights of employees (uberization, the complexity to organize legal strikes) increases. The position of labor migrants becomes especially vulnerable. Labor robotization threatens millions of employees with total unemployment. The introduction of robots into production activities itself is associated not only with the obsolescence of many previous professions, but also with the advent of new ones. However, in the absence of effective legislative regulation and social support measures, non-optimal equilibria in the labor market can be formed. So one requires timely development of a balanced policy in the field of introducing innovations as part of the transition to the sixth technological paradigm. Not only new technologies (artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, etc.), but also advanced socio-economic practices (personnel retraining programs, basic income) should be introduced into economy, which can reduce the growth of social inequality and tension in the society and ultimately to reach the trajectory of sustainable development.
