Special emphasis is placed on the consequences of the breakdown of digital reality in Russia in the beginning 2022 and the consequences of this breakdown for migrant workers. The article touches upon the issues of migrants' attitude to digital technologies and their role in work; questions about digital everyday life, spending free time on the Internet, as well as the use of digital applications available to migrants in Russia. Attention is paid to the negative consequences of digitalization of certain areas of migrant labor, expressed in the stimulation of overworking, digital surveillance and control.
