Abstract

Migration processes are a direct companion and a natural characteristic of human exploration of the world and the construction of social reality. The movements of various ethnic and socio-demographic groups make not only quantitative, but also profound qualitative changes in the structure of the population of a particular territory, and also affect its political, economic, cultural and legal components. Russia has historically been the center of attraction for migration flows, which pace of movement, of course, varies in different historical periods. In the last few years, there has been a significant influx of migrants into the country, mainly from the former Soviet republics. In a demographically difficult period for the Russian Federation, migrants contribute to the making up for the natural decline of the population. From a cultural and axiological point of view, the integration of migrants from neighboring countries, Central Asian countries and Transcaucasia into Russian society contributes to the strengthening of traditionalist value bases and guidelines, which Russians have their own request for. While maintaining kinship, religious, communal, professional and socio-economic ties with the motherland, migrants become an important intermediary link, increasing the possibility of establishing contacts and mutual understanding between states and peoples at all levels of interaction. We consider the active position of work and vocational education in Russia for a migrant not so much as the effectiveness of a person’s personal life path, but as a significant contribution to the economic development of our state, including by replenishing business organization experience and unique solution of professional tasks.
