Abstract

The change of ideology in the CIS countries after the destruction of the Soviet Union had a significant impact on the memorialization of all the events of the twentieth century. This article is devoted to the analysis of the role of the family in the formation of the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War. The object of the study is students of Russian universities with Russian and foreign citizenship, as well as students studying in CIS countries. The subject of the study is the factors of the formation of historical memory of the Great Patriotic War. The project was based on the hypothesis that the memory of the future intelligentsia retains a positive attitude to the Victory of the Soviet people in 1945, which is formed mainly through the education system and family ties.
