Abstract

The identification and fixation of real or potential culprits of a certain shortage of resources, insufficiency of status or influence, infringement or rejection of values is transformed into the process of detecting and fixing representatives of other faiths as counterparties of dissatisfaction relations. The completion of the process of transformation of dissatisfaction into a subject-subject relationship allows us to consider it as a phenomenon of social reality – interfaith tension. The article actualizes the task of identifying, describing and analyzing the features and mechanisms of such transformation, explores the relationship of interfaith tensions and conflicts, clarifies the concepts reflecting these phenomena.
