Abstract

The urgency of studying the labor behavior of the population is emphasized, since the analysis and assessment of the dynamics of employment, the level and type of unemployment, the structure of the labor force are important sources of scientific ideas about demographic, social, economic, socio-political processes. Based on the data of the All-Russian Population Census, the labor behavior of the population of the Republic of Tatarstan in the periods 2002, 2010 and 2020 is considered. The changes in the sphere of employment in the republic are analyzed. Conclusions are drawn regarding the effectiveness of state and regional programs for the development of the labor potential of the region.
