Abstract

Memories of Gennady Semenovich Batygin. Memories of the outstanding Soviet and Russian sociologist G.S. Batygina are presented in the context of the main milestones in the professional path of the author himself, i.e. at the same time they are an experience of autobiographical research. The memoirs add new touches to the portrait image of G.S. Batygin, created by the joint efforts of colleagues, and complement the historical panorama of Russian sociology.
