In modern conditions, these ties continue to deepen against the backdrop of the development of Eurasian integration. After the creation of a free trade zone between Vietnam and the EAEU, we can talk about the growth of economic cooperation in the field of trade, where services play a significant role. Investment cooperation is characterized by an imbalance of various investment flows in favor of Vietnam. In migration exchanges, Vietnam is traditionally considered as a donor country for various migration flows, but the Russian Federation is not a preferred destination for Vietnamese migrants. Therefore, assessing the potential of the Russian-speaking community in Vietnam will make it possible to involve it more in cooperation and deepen bilateral relations in many areas. The features of sources of information about migration flows from Russia to Vietnam, as well as groups of Russian migrants, depending on the type and nature of emigration are highlighted.
