Abstract

At the presentation held on February 13, 2024 at the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences — a branch of the FNSC RAS, the following was presented a monograph entitled "The socio-cultural space of St. Petersburg: representations and interpretations. For the 350th anniversary of St. Petersburg", prepared by a team of scientists, including sociologists and anthropologists. This study combines the results of various projects aimed at studying the past and the present St. Petersburg, as well as forecasting its future development. The presentation of the monograph was held in a format combining elements press conferences and scientific conferences where the leading authors of the work spoke
