Abstract

The issues of formation and realization of educational potential in the sphere of information and computer technologies are given special importance today. The IT sphere is considered to be one of the locomotives of Russian economy, the development of which should be ensured through the widespread introduction of digital technologies. Every year the number of graduates of universities and vocational training institutions in the IT sphere increases in the country. However, when they enter the labor market, they face both a supply squeeze and competition from applicants aged 40+ who have taken commercial courses. Since the IT field today demands mostly narrow profile specialists, to overcome competition graduates need education adapted to specific positions, which is hardly possible today for the majority of students planning to realize their educational potential and build their career in it.
