Abstract

To date, the psychological selection of candidates for cosmonaut corps includes clinical and physiological experiments that do not ful- Of course, the possibility of an objective assessment of the type of thinking of a candidate for the corps at the stage of selection is relevant. A new quality parameter that characterizes the type of thinking of the subject was introduced, based on the mathematical processing of the records of the electrical activity of the brain of specially formed groups of the children aged 9-11, which allowed reducing the effect of endocrine profile on the experiment. On its basis, there is an implication of possibility to execute the objective initial assessment of types of thinking in order to professionally select specialists, involved in prompt solutions of the complex and non-standard tasks, for the space infrastructure, in particular, candidates for the groups of cosmonauts that are prepared to take into account complicated network and dynamic changes in the situation, which implies being able to think differently and use to the maximum extent various facets of their intellectual and personal potential.
