Abstract

The monograph examines the applicability of methods of functional diagnostics of the brain in neurosociology and proposes a new approach to the fundamental principles of neurosociological research. The analysis shows that methods of functional diagnostics of an individual brain when applied to a group are ineffective due to the need for complete isolation of the subject from external influences, which reduces the validity of the results in the context of studying social interactions and collective behavior. A promising direction for the development of neurosociology, which should strive to use methods that most adequately reflect the specifics of the phenomena under study, is the integration of neurophysiological and sociological approaches, which can provide an understanding of the complex relationships between the brain and social behavior.
