Mirziyoyev, who replaced former President I. Karimov in 2016. Over the past 7 years, three presidential elections have been held in the Republic of Uzbekistan: 2016, 2021 and 2023, and one parliamentary election in 2019-2020, as well as a Constitutional referendum in 2023. The analysis of the results of all these important events for the country is presented and shows the impact they had on Uzbek society. The positions of the main political parties that participated in the parliamentary elections and their candidates represented in the presidential elections are presented. The role and importance of the position of the current President Mirziyoyev, who announced the beginning of significant reforms in all major areas of the country: the economy, public administration, civil society, including the media, etc., was noted. The main directions and content of these reforms are given. The profiles of the five leading political parties of Uzbekistan, which are represented in the lower house of Parliament, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, are presented. The results of the previous parliamentary elections of 2014-2015 are compared with the elections of 2019-2029. The analysis of the course of the presidential election campaigns of 2021 and 2023 and the election programs of the candidates participating in them has been carried out. A forecast is made for the further development of the political system of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the conditions of continuing the course of its political modernization, declared by Sh. Mirziyoyev.
