Abstract

In this chapter, we will analyze the composition of the strata and the ratio of positive and negative privilege in different spheres of life in each of them. We will also consider some objective features of the position of their representatives in those spheres that were not taken into account when calculating the Life Chances and Risks Index - in particular, their socio-psychological well-being. In addition to their composition, as well as the internal structure of chances and risks of different strata, the chapter will analyze the overall dynamics of the stratification model of Russian society and the impact of economic changes in the period 2013-2020, including an assessment of the mobility of Russians within the selected strata. Such analysis will shed light on the questions of what specific features distinguish structural positions characterized by the prevalence of positive or negative privilege, how stable their ratio is in modern Russian society, and how durable is the position of those Russians who occupy them.
