Abstract

The situation in world cinematographic art is analyzed. A historical and philosophical analysis of an important and interesting social phenomenon, qualified as a new "female perspective" in modern cinema, is given based on the gender imbalance in cinematography. This phenomenon is considered from the position of the natural evolution of the world community, following the path of affirming gender equality and strengthening the role of women in the social development of society. The stages of development of women's initiatives throughout the history of cinematographic art are presented from a socio-historical perspective, the factors and conditions determining the involvement of women in the creation of cultural (artistic) examples in cinema that meet the spirit of their time are indicated and summarized.
