With the rapid growth of the global communication platform, the amount and accessibility of information, including medical information, is increasing significantly. This has led to a shift in the medical communication landscape, particularly in the field of medical communication. Given the limited knowledge of medical communication practices on the internet, the authors aim to investigate the nature and characteristics of these practices and classify them. In their research, the authors examined the fundamental theoretical approaches to defining the concepts of "social communication" and "social practices," and identified the unique aspects of communication in the online environment. Partly the study focused on the Institute of Medicine and the specifics of communication within it.
