The article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of interethnic relations in modern Russia, which are conditioned by socio-economic, political, cultural, traditional values and ideological concepts. The purpose of the work is to analyze the structural causes of conflicts and the impact of economic discrimination. Objectives: to propose strategies for strengthening interethnic relations, achieving harmony and social stability by improving the infrastructure of the regions, developing domestic tourism and interregional communication. The research methods include general scientific methods, such as analysis, synthesis and generalization, as well as special scientific methods based on the theories of sociology and regional studies. The purpose of the work is to analyze the structural causes of conflicts and the impact of economic discrimination. Results: the polyethnicity of the Russian Federation, which is the result of a centuries-old history of integration and coexistence of many ethnic groups and cultures, leaves a significant imprint on the nature of interethnic relations within the country. Conclusions: interethnic relations in the regional and ethnocultural dimensions of modern Russia are a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that requires a systematic scientific approach and comprehensive analysis.
