Abstract

The problem of training qualified specialists has become especially acute in connection with the process of Russia's sovereignization. Therefore, the topic «Education and professional realization» was chosen for the 16th Round Table «Russian Education Today», held by the Department of Sociology of Education at the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Research Committee "Sociology of Education" of the Russian Society of Sociologists and the journal «Sociological Research». 50 applications from 16 Russian cities were submitted for seven sections of the Round Table, which took place on February 12-13, 2024. The presentations of scientists and practitioners gave a wide panorama of the processes in Russian education. This review presents presentations that revealed the most difficult problems of personnel training in universities.
