Abstract

The competence, responsibility and professionalism of civil servants are the basis for the effective work of government agencies. As part of the study, an analysis of the opinions of Russian students regarding the personal and professional qualities of civil servants, the problems of the population when communicating with civil servants and the image of a civil servant was carried out. The authors make an attempt to analyze the personal and professional value orientations of civil servants, which allows drawing conclusions about how to adjust the activities of civil servants most effectively, as well as to improve the public perception of civil servants
