As a result of the study, it was found that the massive influx of refugees caused a flurry of discontent on the part of the Norwegian population, which the authorities cannot ignore. As a response, the Government of the country has begun to tighten its migration policy in terms of granting asylum to persons from a number of countries, including Ukraine, Syria, and Somalia. The study will provide an understanding of the evolution of Norway's migration policy, as well as the current state in the context of modern demographic trends. The results may have practical significance for specialists in the field of migration policy, as well as for the public interested in studying this issue.
