Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an author's approach to the metric assessment of the intellectual potential of organizations in the healthcare system. The author has proposed his own methodology for calculating the integral assessment indicator, based on qualitative and quantitative groups of indicators that determine the eight identified components: intellectual, human, infrastructural (including image), informational, innovative, scientific capital, intangible assets and intellectual property. The object of research is medical organizations. The subject is the intellectual potential of an organization as a development perspective and strategic increase in operational efficiency. Based on the mathematical apparatus, an approach to the metric assessment of the intellectual potential of organizations has been put forward, which is universal and adaptive to any set of indicators. The author's approach has theoretical and practical value for researchers who deal with the problems of assessing the intellectual capital and potential of organizations, as well as for managers at all levels of management to improve the efficiency of labor organization and services provided, including in the management of medical personnel.
