Abstract

The diverse aspects of the interrelationships between food market institutions, food security parameters, and the level of sustainability of the country's agri-food system proposed in the study will make it possible to identify tools and strategic priorities for publicprivate partnership to regulate ongoing transformational processes in an uncertain environment. The formation of an organizational and economic mechanism for ensuring food security at the national and regional levels while maintaining economic security should be vulnerable to rising prices, shortages of foreign currency and embargoes, as well as external supplies, especially in the context of the impact of external threats on the national and economic security of the country. The author presents a methodological approach to ensuring food security, develops a structural and logical scheme of the food security system for the regions of the Russian Federation, and formulates proposals for the sustainable development of food security in the regions of the Russian Federation for the medium and long term, as well as control measures to achieve them. Within the framework of this study, a number of complex interdisciplinary tasks have been solved aimed at the effective adaptation of agrifood systems to modern challenges, when the main factor in economic development is not the availability of resources, but the effectiveness of their use. The results of the study will make it possible to supplement the theoretical basis of the study of the basic transformation processes that determine the dynamics of the sustainability of the food supply system, with modern ideas about changing cause-and-effect relationships, priorities and the role of individual economic growth factors in the context of environmental turbulence.
