Abstract

The article discusses the strategies for recruiting Chinese students to Russian educational institutions. The main goal of the work is to analyze existing approaches to attracting foreign students and identify effective practices that contribute to the successful adaptation of Chinese students to the Russian educational system. The methodology of the work includes a comprehensive analysis of comparative studies of existing recruiting programs, analysis of statistical data, analysis of data from a sociological study conducted in Russian universities in April-May 2024 (questionnaire survey of Chinese students studying at Russian universities). The results of the study identified key factors influencing the choice of an educational institution, such as the quality of education, the reputation of the university, the availability of preparatory courses, support programs, and others. The main conclusion is that in order to successfully attract Chinese students, it is necessary to adapt recruitment strategies, taking into account the cultural and economic characteristics of Chinese students, their unique educational needs and expectations. The author offers a variety of approaches to recruiting: effective targeted information campaigns, demonstration of examples of successful graduates, organization of study tours and webinars. It is recommended to further study and introduce new technologies in recruiting processes to expand international cooperation and improve the quality of educational services.
