Abstract

The monograph examines the factors and parameters of modern geopolitical transformations — this complex and changing set of various processes, reflected primarily in the change in the centrosocial structure of the system of world politics. The role of the world centers of power — Russia, China, the USA, as well as a potential global player — India - is analyzed. The place of the European Union and Japan in world geopolitics is assessed. The regional and supra-regional influence of Turkey and the increasing influence of regional powers are shown on the example of Vietnam and Indonesia. The importance of scientific, technological, and military factors in geopolitical transformations is discussed, and changes in the state of interstate alliances and associations are shown. The article analyzes the place and interests of Russia in the modern system of world politics, including in relation to the internal socio-economic and socio-political development, the formation of the social reality of the country. The processes taking place in Russian society under the influence of geopolitical transformations, especially under the influence of the "hybrid war" waged by the "collective West" against the Russian Federation. It is emphasized that under these conditions, society has consolidated in Russia, and support for the Russian Federation to follow its own path based on traditional Russian values has increased.
